South West Substation

FCS are completing the civils and fencing packages at Mannington substation in Wimborne. As part of FCS’ delivery remit, FCS are installing approximately 1165m of reinforced concrete sill (800 x 900mm) complete with bolt down palisade fencing installed atop. As part of the works FCS are also constructing a new airlock complete with 2 nr combined double leaf gates and pedestrian panic gates. FCS are also installing all associated RC bases, ducting and draw pits for the project. In addition to the installation of GRP cable tray around the full perimeter. Total value circa £6 million.
